The Finalists of the Palm of The North 2017 are Announced
The films that will be competing for the Palm of The North are chosen.
Chad Gracia
Has worked in New York theater for nearly 20 years as a producer and playwright with a focus on plays in verse. His works have seen productions on various cities in the United States and Europe. His first feature documentary “The Russian Woodpecker” won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival
Ostap Kostyuk
Director, actor, and musician. He was born in 1979 in Kolomyia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Worked as an actor at Les KurbasLviv Academic Theater and at the Song Workshop Artistic Center. He is also a musician and the co-creator of such music projects as BAI. Hutsul Mystery, Banda Arkan,TatoshBanda and HychOrkestr. Director of the film “Living Fire” which won an award at the Hot Docs Film Festival
Oleksandr Ratiy
Film director. His film “The Road Back” won the National Competition at the 43rd MolodistIFF. His next film “The Ordinary Things” was screened in Cannes in 2014
