Bike ride to the «86» Festival
We invite cyclists and cinema lovers to participate in the bike ride from Chernihiv to Slavutych on the day of the opening of the «86» Festival. We prepared a route for you bypassing scenic villages and green forests. Estimated travel time is 3 hours. At the finish, you could enjoy a rich festival program: the opening ceremony, a lot of movies, discussions, exhibitions, and parties. During the construction of Slavutych, in 1986, there were designed first cycle tracks in Ukraine. At the location of the festival will be free and safe bike park.
Participation in bike ride is free. More information you could find on The Bike Ride Facebook Page. We ask participants to fill the registration form in the link below.
For our Bike ride, you could rent a bicycle from «Velosvit» bike shop. Rental cost: 150 UAH (half of a day).
You will need to bring your passport, a deposit, and fill the registration form. In Slavutych, you will simply take the bike to the point of bicycle rental (near the Festival Accreditation Point). The number of rovers for rent is limited (4 cruisers and 2 mountain bikes).
Caution! Your Kids Will Become Urbanists After “86” Festival
During the «86» Festival in Slavutych, there will be The Kids Urbanism Workshop made by Children Architecture School DASH! (Kharkiv) All events of the Workshop are connected and together they will help kids to turn the idea of the city upside down. We announce an Open Call for young urbanists 8 to 14 years to participate in the Workshop.
If we see Slavutych in the same way as former Prypiat, why don’t we go one step further? The studio will develop the fantastic idea of transferring the city to a new location. What will you put in your backpack if you are to include a whole city? This experimental situation will help us highlight values, work with the urban identity and rethink the past. Backpacks with items, concepts, souvenirs, favourite cafes, songs and all that we consider necessary will be presented to the public at the end of the research week.

Kid’s Architectural School Will Take Care of Your Children’s Leisure
Are you coming to “86” with kids? We have an exciting activity for them. During the festival in Slavutych, Classes in Urbanism will be held. In interactive way, visitors will learn more about the cities and exchange ideas about their future. The Classes’ format combines lectures, discussions and training exercises. Children aged from 8 to 14 and their parents are welcomed.
The Kid’s Urbanism Classes is a series of 5 lessons for the young visitors of the festival and their parents. Today’s children will be the ones shaping our cities tomorrow. Our goal is to help them understand the significance and impact of the architectural environment. We would like to teach them to comprehend space critically, express their ideas and make informed decisions. The classes are aimed at developing spontaneous ideas and raising the children’s awareness of internal concepts of cities, architecture and of the human being. The learning process is organized to push the student towards posing questions, finding and processing the data and creating their own ideas of things through experiments and research.

Anomaly: Cosmic opening
This is the explosive opening of the music programme in the magnetic anomaly zone at «86»! On the first night, we plan to impress you with a collection of the best bits of action from TIU. Let the laws of physics take a break till dawn — Slavutych is going to see musicians who craft sounds that reshape physical reality. The show begins on May 9th at 21:00.
Anomaly: the Southern declination
Slavutych has never come in such close contact with the South. This techno-night brings the largest number of southern anomalies to the TIU zone. The show begins on the evening of May 10th and will continue the whole night.
Anomaly: The 20ft Error
The gravitational anomaly has tuned into a progressive radio wave and now transforms itself into a party from 20ft Radio. The Error will begin to occur on May 12th at 21:00.
Anomaly: Freak Rave Cabaret
Exclusion zone anomalies cause unpredictable mutations, breeding crazy techno-freaks. Prepare to mutate all night long on Saturday, as we bring the Freak Rave Cabaret to Slavutych for the first time. The show begins on May 12th at 23.00
Anomaly: The Exclusion Zone
When outrageous amounts of artistic irradiation leave the strongest standing, the final party of the festival will explode in the exclusion zone. The show starts on May 13th at 21:00.
The Quiet Party
In the last day of the festival, May 13th, somewhere in the forest near Slavutych will be The Quite Party. Dance the way you like and listen to what you want to hear.
