Was born in Lviv, Ukraine. He graduated from VGIK, Medinsky’s studio and became one of the most acclaimed contemporary Russian documentary filmmakers and producers. His first work in the world of cinema appeared in 1989, and since that time he has shot more than 30 films which screened at festivals worldwide and were awarded several times

Olesia Ostrovska-Liuta

 

Was born in Lviv, Ukraine. She is an art-manager and modern art curator, head of the analytics department at pro.mova (since 2014) and counselor of Ukrainian Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk (since 2016). In 2014 she was the First Deputy of Minister of Culture. Now she is the director of Mystetskyi Arsenal, the National Museum Complex for Culture and Arts

Tadhg O’Sullivan

 

Filmmaker and sound artist living in Carlow, Ireland. His first feature film “Yximalloo” (co-directed with Feargal Ward) was shown at numerous international film festivals, winning the Prix Premiere at FiD Marseille in 2014. He received the Arts Council of Ireland’s Film Bursary in 2015

Viktor Marushchenko

 

Lives and works in Kyiv. Cofounder of the private independent information agency Ukrpres, as well as the Foto Nostra gallery. From 1999, head of the Kyiv organization of the Union of Photo Artists of Ukraine. From 2004, head of the Viktor Marushchenko School of Photography. Participant of the collective exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. His personal exhibitions took place on Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Slovakia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine. Marushchenko’s works are featured in the Images anthology of the world photography

Veronika Janatkova

 

Producer from Chech Republic. She is a graduate of FAMU and an alumnus of the European Workshop ExOriente, ArchiDoc, IDFA Academy, and Berlinale Talents. She has worked on the cross-media project “Everyday Rebellion”, on the Arte production “It’s More Than TV”, and on the award-winning theatrical films “Away From All Suns!” and “You Drive Me Crazy”. Her films include Sigurður Hallmar Magnússon’s “Iceland”, “Year Zero” and Lorenz Findeisen’s “Concrete Stories”; the latter was featured in the “86” program in 2015

Аrt and urban research collective founded by Liva Dudareva and Eduardo Cassina that develops innovative urban strategies and systematizes the knowledge of how people integrate into urban space and interact with it. Metasitu explores the varied ways in which we inhabit (urban) territories, largely through video art, research, and lectures. Their work has been exhibited at The Venice Biennale, Kunsthalle Wien, Izolyatsia, tranzit.hu, CCA Glasgow, and The Strelka Institute among others
