With the cool gaze of an anthropologist from another planet, Hannes Lang accompanies us around the world that is at once declining and progressing. Seven countries and seven experiences – from India’s slums and Bolivian lithium mines to United States, where a scientist argues that death will cease to exist in the 21st century.

 

The screening will be followed by an extended discussion with its director Hannes Lang as well as Dmytro Botavin — a member of the sociocultural center “Autonomy”, a unique squat located in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
