THE CITY SCHOOL FOR OPTIMISTS

The City School for Optimists is a platform that unites the recidents of Slavutych that tend to see problems as opportunities for development.

 

The most important task of the School is to fulfil the space between the citizens with ideas and thus to encourage Slavutych community to recognize the new mission of the city.

 

The ideas, manifested as implemented urban projects, form the meaningful urban environment. By meaningful we mean private, informal, creative initiative that combines historical and mythological identity of the city, and manages its intellectual and symbolic resources.

 

In the medium term, Slavutych will showcase it’s own brand beyond simple logo and visual identity. The urban environment will become a hub of events and new meanings that will attract people both within the Slavutych and beyond.

 

The participants of the School, its experts, are residents of Slavutych. City businessmen, managers of the city, teachers, students, and representatives of urban communities (yoga, leisure, IT).
