In 2012-2013, she was engaged in anthropological filmmaking and urban research at Temple University (Philadelphia). Currently she is a student of the DOK PRO program at the Andrzej Wajda Film School (Warsaw). A co-founder and curator of the Festival of Film and Urbanism “86”.

Kateryna studied biology and then journalism at Kyiv Mohyla Academy. She graduated from the School of Documentary Film and Theater of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov in Moscow, and returned to Kyiv. Now she is engaged in educational documentary programs as well as her own documentary and fiction film projects.

Born in 1982. He studied at the Kyiv National Ivan Karpenko-Kary University of Theatre, Film and Television, majoring in TV Directing. He is the author of three fiction and two documentary shorts. His film The Road Back won in the national competition of the 43rd Molodist IFF. His next movie The Ordinary Things was screened in Cannes in 2014.
