SYNOPSIS

 

February 15, 2015 is a day when a ceasefire supposed to come into effect in eastern Ukraine. The most important political achievement the whole country was looking forward to – to enter the uncertain state of a frozen conflict in order to shift it into a diplomatic realm. But it takes one visit to a half-destroyed Pisky town in Donetsk region on that very day, to discover among its apocalyptic landscapes that politics is long dead. The government doesn’t control the events taking place in the world.

 

BIOGRAPHY OF DIRECTOR

 

Valery Puzik was born in 1987 in Stara Syniava, Khmelnytsky region. He holds a degree in Design. His paintings and drawings have been exhibited in Ukraine some dozen times. He has been a journalist for several websites and newspapers. An author of number of novellas and short stories that not periodically are printed in periodicals. In January 2015 he voluntarily joined the army. He fought in Donbas with the 5th battalion of Pravy Sektor’s Ukrainian Volunteer Corps.
