SYNOPSIS

 

One day in the life of a working man. Gathering the wires for scrap. Feeding the stray dogs. Chopping wood and firing a furnace. Opening the gate for more important people. Zapping and simple food.

 

BIOGRAPHY OF DIRECTOR

 

Oleksander Surovtsov, born 1985 in Mariupol, Ukraine, still lives there. Until 2016 was a factory worker. Since 2016 works for the Platforma TU project. “Ontology” is his debut film, shot in 2016 and produced by Sashko Protiah. In filming, Oleksander sunscribes to ideas by Lav Diaz and Van Bin.
