Are you coming to “86” with kids? We have an exciting activity for them. During the festival in Slavutych, Classes in Urbanism will be held. In interactive way, visitors will learn more about the cities and exchange ideas about their future. The Classes’ format combines lectures, discussions and training exercises. Children aged from 8 to 14 and their parents are welcomed.

The Kid’s Urbanism Classes is a series of 5 lessons for the young visitors of the festival and their parents. Today’s children will be the ones shaping our cities tomorrow. Our goal is to help them understand the significance and impact of the architectural environment. We would like to teach them to comprehend space critically, express their ideas and make informed decisions. The classes are aimed at developing spontaneous ideas and raising the children’s awareness of internal concepts of cities, architecture and of the human being. The learning process is organized to push the student towards posing questions, finding and processing the data and creating their own ideas of things through experiments and research.
